getting older

So today I think I stumbled across another sign that I'm getting older...I officially HATE the mall! I went to get my hair done at Belk, so afterwards I decided to shop for a dress to wear to Lauren's wedding reception next week...big mistake.  Little did I know that the mall would be a madhouse.  I guess I should have known better since it IS a Saturday, but that didn't even cross my mind...because I NEVER go to the mall anymore!  It was absolutely ridiculous.  You couldn't even walk into to some stores it was so crowded! I also got INCREDIBLY irritated at peoples lack of consideration for others.  Seriously. People. Are. RUDE!  It was like I didn't even exist...people kept bumping into me, power walking past me, and heaven forbid you need to get by someone because even if they are WELL aware that they are in the way they won't even budge, why should they YOU'RE the one in THEIR way right? ugh. I was seriously irritated. After settling on a dress that I just sort of like (I could not find anything at all....dresses, shirts, nada...there was one very pretty dress at Belk that I absolutely loved...but of course they didn't have my size and I highly doubt the one at Dutch Square has it because that Belk is a craphole) I decided to bust out and head home...easy enough right? NO! There was a LINE to get out of the mall...a line...you would've thought it was Christmas or something for crying out loud. Unnecessary is what it was.  After that whole experience I decided to skip my plans of going to Marshals and TJ Maxx and Home Depot and just head home.  I had suffered enough. So...does my lack of patience for this nonsense mean I'm getting older?...or more reasonable?....or do you just get more reasonable as you get older? If that's the case then yes, I'm showing my age.

On the bright side of things my hair looks great! Blonde once again....blonder than I Have been in a while. It was another beautiful day, which I didn't enjoy because I was stuck in the mall BUT it's supposed to be even better tomorrow!...but...I need to clean house and do some school work.  I have 7 papers to write before April 1st if I want to exempt the final....and of course I have yet to start.  Do you expect any less of me?  Somehow I ended up treating this week as my spring break as well...I only worked 2 days and have accomplished absolutely nothing.  But it's been great while it lasted.  Perhaps I do work better under the so called "chaos theory"...maybe that's why I procrastinate so much.  I let it all come down to the wire and then pump it out.  Now that I think about it, that makes sense. I have much more to say but I don't want to write another novel.  I didn't know my rant about the mall was going to be so long.  PEACE!
